Greetings from Arizona,

The beginning of the 22-23 school year has been off and running since the third week of August. Our freshman orientation days allowed for a lot of interaction and assessment as the students got to know the Indian Bible College (IBC) family and we began the relationship journey with them. A number of the students already knew one another from working at the summer camp Broken Arrow Bible Ranch in New Mexico.

Teaching two classes, Life Coaching and my work as the Financial Aid Administrator (Pell Grants) are keeping me hopping but all is going very well. I have 10 students in the Personal Development (freshman) class, which is the largest number of students I’ve taught in one class here at IBC.

I’m thankful to be teaching freshman and sophomore students as well as life coaching two young ladies, Jianna and Skie. Please pray that the students remain faithful to studying hard and being devoted to completing their assignments, while actively living out what they’re learning.

We’re grateful for the 7 freshman and 3 returning students who were last enrolled in the spring of ’20 and fall of ’21. We’d been praying for 15 new students and God provided 10. All total we have 26 students on campus, which is the largest student body since I’ve been ministering here at IBC.

Please pray for these new students to have a successful year as they grow in Christ
(left to right): Skie (Sioux/Ojibwe), Katelynn (Zuni), Elise (Philipino), Jonathan (Anglo), Joel (Navajo), Jade (Navajo), Nathanael (Anglo), Kyon (Navajo), Danny (Cherokee) and Emmanuel (Navajo).

To end the first term, Student Life and the student body will spend the first weekend in October on a “Kickoff Kampout” where they’ll dive deeper in living out what they’ve been learning about Who God is and living in His image. Please pray for a dynamic time of fellowship, fun and learning from the Lord and one another.

In August our staff team kicked off the new school year by enjoying a few days together in Prescott, AZ, growing together in our friendships, getting to know each other better, singing & praying together and seeking the Lord for His direction and guidance for the school year. There were some fun competitions, as well, including an “Escape Room”. My team won the event, which included me, Emily, Accountant; Irish, Director of Communications; and Coreen, Dean of Women.

Please pray for our staff that we’ll be examples for the students in our Christian Community, grace, love and unity. And, may our lives reflect Jesus in everything we do!

Thank you for being such a vital part of this ministry through your prayers and giving. I’m blessed through you to be a blessing to others.

United in Jesus’ love,
