I am so excited to tell you of an incredible answer to your prayers: Wednesday afternoon we finally got a diagnosis for our oldest daughter Abby. The recent MRI clearly showed that Abby has May-Thurner syndrome, which requires surgery to install a stent and life will often return to normal. We are waiting for a call to schedule the surgery. Use this link to learn about this condition. I want to sincerely say thank you to all of you for your prayers for Abby and our family over these last four years. It has been a long and difficult road, but we are so excited to have a diagnosis in place and a plan of action. The journey isn’t over, but we are so thrilled (see the pic above!) to have direction for what is next.
2023 Spring Newsletter–Outside
You can read the IBC Spring newsletter–currently being mailed– using the links above. It is a significant “labor of love” on the part of several IBC staff members.
As you can see from the newsletter, Sarah and I are leading a team to Israel, leaving June 1st. Going to Israel has been a burden of mine since I was 20 years old, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to see this long-term interest be a blessing to young Native Christian leaders. It will be the first time these three Native friends have traveled overseas, and the first time they’ve raised funds for an opportunity like this. Would you pray for the Lord’s provision for the team?
We are grateful for all of you who are standing with us on behalf of raising up a generation of healthy Native Christian leaders.
