Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and gifts! We are deeply grateful for your partnership with us in reaching the Hewa tribal people with the love of Jesus. Thank you!
We are overjoyed at all the Lord has been doing in Hewa! On December 16, a team of three men (Chris, his father Scott, and Jezekiel) flew with me into Hewa and they, with the help of many Hewa volunteers, spent a week constructing the second (of three) double-classroom school buildings. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to these men for their investment in the hearts of the children!

A week later as the construction team departed, Susan and Mikenna came to join me in for Mikenna’s Christmas break. During that time, I continued to work with the Hewa men to add teacher’s offices and other things required to get the first and second buildings ready for the teachers to arrive and hold classes for the Hewa children.
On top of all that, we were very thankful for Kaifas and other volunteers from the Hewa church, who have been teaching a daily Hewa literacy class during the school break. Mothers and other Hewans, who cannot attend formal school, got the opportunity to learn to read and write with the purpose of reading the Hewa language New Testament. We were very happy to see that more than 50 people faithfully attended the morning Hewa literacy classes each day.
Thank you for your love and prayers,
Jonathan, Susan & Mikenna
