It was a perfect day yesterday—blue sky with a smattering of clouds, light breeze, and warm temperatures. I left from home close to 9 and wandered back in at 5. My phone recorded I had hiked 16.78 miles. Wow! That’s the farthest I’ve done alone, I think, and I was still feeling well.

I am so grateful to God for the good health with which He has blessed me. God has also granted me magnificent place to live where I can continue to hike and bike. It has been a tumultuous twelve years of forest fires, floods, and excessive winds, but the beauty is still nearly unmatched by anywhere else I have been. I’ll share some photos for your enjoyment.

The IBC students left for their annual Kickoff Kampout on Thursday afternoon. From the Instagram posts, they are having an enjoyable time on the waters of Lake Powell. Please pray for continued safety, and that God would work in their midst.

Term one has ended. We are one third of the way through the semester already. My classes are mostly going well. Thank you for your continued prayers.
