We received this message this morning and want to share it with you. Jos is a faithful servant of the Lord who is assisting his missionary in translating the Old Testament. He is living in our former station and is referring to the village surrounding it.

According to Proverbs 25:25, good news from a far country is like cold waters to a thirsty soul, and Jos came to me on Saturday evening with some good news that he wanted me to share with you. He had just returned from listening to testimonies from those in the Nalepa community who recently finished a Course 1, and he said that 26 people gave clear testimonies of faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross for salvation. Before, they were just relying on their lotu pasin (religious activities)  , but now they know the way that God has chosen for them to come to Him. It is through the substitutionary death of the Lamb of God, as pictured by the ram that was offered in Isaac’s place. Jos was full of praise to God and wanted you to know that the last Teacher Training course that you held here at Sobega was not in vain.

That oughtta give you a smile! (and a heart full of praise)

Blessings,
