Diann & I want to wish you a blessed Thanksgiving! Recently on a drive from Kennewick to the coast we had the pleasure of viewing the fall colors along the Columbia River. Breathtakingly beautiful view of God’s creation on a crisp fall day!
There continues to be positive reports coming from many areas of the world. In Papua New Guinea, an NTM-PNG missionary, who serves equipping local church leaders, recently traveled to the Hamtai language group and was able to interact with leaders from many of the Hamtai churches. One of the highlights of his trip was a baptism service where 52 people publicly expressed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, in a recent report from Mexico, an Ethnos360 missionary, who works among the Nahuatl people, is encouraged to see the believers there volunteering to serve where there is a need. She said, “We see God’s Spirit at work in their lives, equipping them and giving them boldness!”
At a mission conference at Ocean Park Community Church in October, it was encouraging to hear the different reports of how the Lord was working through ministries in distant lands. I (Dave) had the opportunity to share what the Lord was doing through Ethnos360 in Papua New Guinea and around the world. And, what a blessing it was to visit with dear friends at the conference!
Last year in November I wrote about Dawn S., who had been accepted as an associate member with Ethnos360, and would be serving in Papua New Guinea possibly after mid-year 2021. Well, Dawn arrived on the mission field this September of 2021! PTL! She recently wrote, “I am so grateful to the Lord for having this wonderful work for me and this beautiful little apartment to live in.” Dawn will be serving at the mission center in the western region for NTM-PNG. She will be part of the support team for Church Planters and Bible Translators in that region.
As we anticipate Thanksgiving Day we would like to say thank you for partnering together with us in reaching a lost world for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!
Together with you for Him,
Dave and Diann
