Greetings in Christ!
The Spring semester is up and running! Four classes were offered in the first two weeks of January by faculty from New York, Washington, Minnesota, and Texas. Many of our staff and a few students came down with COVID (including my family, again) but everyone recovered without too much difficulty or need for hospitalization. Regular classes started on the 17th.
We will be hosting a Connection Dessert at IBC this Thursday, January 27, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. For those of you who are not able to attend in person, we will be making a Zoom link available so you can participate. There will be student testimonies, some music, a school update, and, of course (if you’re in person) dessert. If you would like to attend via Zoom, please RSVP (and receive the Zoom link) by contacting the “virtual host” (and graduate) Christina Tree at ctree@indianbible.org. If you are able to attend in person, RSVP to info@infdianbible.org or call (928) 774-3890.
Here are some prayer requests:
- Pray for The Board of Trustees meets this week (on Friday); would you pray with us for this important meeting as we seek the Lord’s direction for IBC’s ministry?
- Please continue to pray for strength, wisdom, and health for me as I cover the Academic Dean role; pray also for the Lord’s provision of the right person to take that position in the near future.
- Director of Admissions Daniel Esplin is planning a very active travel schedule for the next four months; please pray for his efforts to recruit 15 new students for the Fall semester.
I am incredibly grateful for the incredible prayer partners, volunteers, and financial partners that “shoulder the load” with us here at IBC. But I am not the one grateful for you–see below for a quick “thank you” video!
