Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Koppens and the Indian Bible College!
This is my last act before setting the “vacation responder” to my email. I am really looking forward to taking next week with the family. Tonight our church is doing its first-ever “Kids Christmas Pageant.” Christmas Eve we will have some staff and students over for dinner, worship, and a movie. Christmas Day the six of us Koppens have reserved for just us. The forecast for next week is a lot of snow, and we will spend a lot of family time by the fire.
It has been a challenging semester, but God’s faithfulness has been very evident. The prayers of God’s people (including you) have been powerfully answered. I have personally experienced miraculous strength and power in responding to difficulty and pain in the power of the Spirit. Thank you for praying!
See below and attached for the school’s Fall (Christmas) letter. In addition to the answers to prayer highlighted in the newsletter, the Lord has answered our prayers for the staffing needs of a Director of Institutional Research, an interim Academic Dean, and for a new staff member to help develop a Development Team!
One of the school’s partnering churches (Mission Hills in Colorado) sent two staff to campus in November to do a video shoot of a student story. I have permission to share the results; it is well-worth the five minutes of your time. William is very soft-spoken; you’ll need to turn the volume way up! https://vimeo.com/658691217
We praise God for you, our faithful partners! Thank you for your faithful service to see Native American Christian leaders reaching and making disciples of their own people–and someday of the world!
