Thank you for praying for us! I gave my last presentation for the summer at my home church here in Flagstaff on Sunday and am now concentrating completely on the Fall semester at IBC, well, almost completely.
On the home front, I am having pavers put in the driveway to replace the disintegrating tar. And on weekends, I’m trying to get back in shape after a summer far from mountains and high altitude (in the photo, my friend Betty and I hiked to the 12,633-foot summit of Mount Humphrey’s).
Fall is in the air. Today is the final day of term one at IBC. The students are preparing to head off for a long weekend at Lake Powell on their annual Kickoff Kampout. Please pray with us for safety, for good bonding, and for refreshment for everyone involved.
Term two begins on Tuesday, October 5. I am really enjoying the flexibility of my schedule to be able to hang out with students this semester. I love when they stop by my office to ask for prayer or to share what is going on in their lives. Pray I would be a good and trustworthy example as well as an effective life coach and life coach director.
May God grant us His peace in these troubled times!
