I only encountered a few minutes of rain all the way across the country. The car is running flawlessly. Meetings are going well, and people are amazingly generous and kind to me. I could get used to this!

So far I’ve had opportunity to present the ministry of IBC 13 times in 6 states to 5 individuals or families and 7 churches (twice in one church). I’ve traveled 3,478 miles, played guitar and sang in a nursing home, and helped out with two different Vacation Bible Schools. One of the highlights so far was a trip to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum in Connecticut. I’m hoping to check out as many Indian museums as possible in order to start a little museum at IBC this fall.

Here is a photo from the Mashantucket museum, which included amazing life-sized dioramas of various activities engaged in by the Pequot around the time of the Pilgrim’s landing.

Along the way I wandered slightly from my route to see Niagara Falls. I’ve enjoyed visits with my aunt, two brothers, a nephew and his family, three nieces and their families, and a sister-in-law, in addition to other supporters. God has been blessing me immensely!

Prayer requests:

  • Pray for Daniel and Coreen as they are busy recruiting students over the next week in Illinois. We are asking God for between 10 and 15 new students for fall.
  • Pray for God’s blessing on work teams serving at IBC this summer.
  • Pray for the remainder of my trip (see below) that God would use me to be a blessing, to represent IBC accurately and well, and that I would use my time effectively to bring Him pleasure.

July 10: 10 a.m. ladies’ brunch at Cornerstone Church; 3-7 p.m. Soiree at Garrell’s lake house (Church on the Green, Middleboro)
July 11: Speak at Dartmouth Bible Church (Dartmouth, MA)
July 13: Lunch with Mim Dow (supporter) and daughter Judy (Raynham, MA)
July 14: Meet with Christ Community Church missions committee (Taunton, MA) 6 p.m.
July 15: 5:30 p.m. dinner at Cindy Price’s and meeting at Dighton Community Church, 7 p.m. (Dighton, MA)
July 16: 5 p.m. dinner at Brian & Marji Hebda’s (supporters) in Bridgewater, MA.
July 17: Check out Hassanamisco Native American Museum in Grafton, MA,? visit with supporters Tom & Kathie Marginson in Whitinsville, MA; stay overnight with Alex & Helen Neidhardt in Woodstock, CT.
July 18: Speak at Faith Baptist Church, 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. service (Southbridge, MA); picnic afterward at Neidhardt’s.
July 20: Prayer time at Mim Dow’s, 11 a.m. (Raynham, MA)
July 25: Speak at Church at the Green (Middleboro, MA) 10:30 a.m.
July 31: Visit with Donahues? Media, PA. Stay overnight two nights with Rudy & Karen Dane (Bethel, PA).
