Christmas Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,

J ust several days before we celebrate Christ’s birthday, and we are writing to say “thank you” for your love, prayers, and support during our first year of retirement. Sandy is still employed with our local school district in providing meals for students. She has healed enough from her ankle injury that she was able to return to work last week. The job has changed some due to the pandemic. She continues to see slow gradual healing in her ankle. The doctor said that it may take twelve to eighteen months for this to completely heal. Thank you for your continued prayers for her.

E ver since we have been home from Papua New Guinea, Steve has had a nagging pain in his right shoulder. After a series of x-rays and an MRI, a surgeon determined that there are multiple tears and a bone spur that are causing the continual pain. He sure is glad that there is an orthoscopic procedure that can resolve this discomfort. Surgery is scheduled for January 22, 2021. Please pray that this procedure goes as well as the doctor plans.

S ome of you have been praying for Kenny. Keep on praying for his salvation. We believe that he is beginning to allow the Holy Spirit to work in his life. Sometimes he talks about God in our conversations.

U nite with us in prayer to bring a home, plus a hope, to survivors of human trafficking. Pray for human traffickers to be stopped. Pray also for personnel that are needed to work with adults and minors. Many minors are being targeted online during this pandemic. The needs are great, but we serve a great God that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ever ask or think. We have not, because you ask not. Please pray!

S uccess has come from our prayers together for our grandson, Zane. The doctors do not have a reason, other than he may have been dehydrated. Zane is drinking more water now, but we all know who the great healer is – it is JESUS! Jesus has made him well. Praise the Lord.

JESUS is: Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). He is the reason for Christmas!

Listening for the trump,

Steve and Sandy Aholt
