We have enjoyed an extended non-stop rush since we arrived back to the USA in July. We were very blessed to give Mikayla to Tobia Roth in marriage here in Prescott in August. Then we were happy for the chance to drive to see my parents and family members in Idaho.
After that we were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with our son, Micah, and his new wife, Sally (pictured below), in Colorado. Now we are planning a trip to see Susan’s parents and other family members in the Carolinas. It is wonderful to catch up on what God is doing in the lives of our family and friends.
We are dying to hear news from Hewa and wish we had a better way to keep in contact with our tribal friends. We are very grateful that this week Keith and Angie Copley are making a trip into Hewa to check up on them and invest in their hearts. Please continue to pray for our Hewa friends, asking that the Lord will bring them close to Himself. Please especially remember to pray for the elders, Ken, Maikol, Kifeson, Faimpat & Yanis (pictured below named left to right) as they seek to lead the village to surrender to the Lord and His plan for their lives.
With deep gratitude for your love and prayers,
Jonathan, Susan & Mikenna
