“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”

Psalm 105:4 NIV

It certainly has been a much different spring than what we have experienced in the past. Wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands and only leaving our apartment to go out for the essentials. However, it is encouraging to know that here in Florida, we have entered into Phase 1 of the reopening plan. Some of the state parks are open, hospitals can now perform elective procedures, many beaches are now open, and retail stores and restaurants are opening with the appropriate social distancing guidelines in place.

At this time, 25% of the normal of office staff are being allowed to return to working in the Sanford office. Group meetings of 10 people are allowed, social distancing permitting. For the time being, I will continue to work remotely from our apartment.

We have now received word that a virtual Pre-field Orientation (PFO) will be held in June. This is a first for the Connection Center Team. Your prayers are coveted as we will be venturing into uncharted territory. We now have 13 individuals approved for Associate membership with the mission, who will be attending the upcoming PFO. These missionaries will be filling important positions within the USA, Africa, Latin America, Papua New Guinea and the Philippines.
