Love and Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,
Adar is the name of a winter month on the Hebrew calendar with 29 days. This is the time of the year when the Jews were able to protect themselves (on Adar 13-14) from their enemies. You will find this in the book of Esther 9:1, 15. On the 14th day they made it a day of feasting and gladness (verse 17), and a good day, and of sending portions one to another (verse 19). This was called Purim and has been celebrated every year since that time. Is this not amazing that we celebrate the same time of the year as Valentine Day. We send a portion of our love to you!
There are 29 days in the month of February this year, so that makes 2020 a Leap Year.
We are doing well. Our thanks to each of you for your prayers and financial support during our retirement years. We seem as busy now as when we were still working full-time. Maybe that is because we are moving a little slower now :).
Listening for the trump,
Steve and Sandy Aholt
