Trey and Elise would like to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving and let you know how thankful we are for your love, support, prayers, and encouragement throughout the past 22 years of serving with the International Mission Board in the countries of Scotland, Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovakia. It’s brought comfort, strength, peace, and help to know of your faithfulness to our Lord. We are encouraged by your prayers, notes of encouragement, visits, and financial giving to the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which is collected during the Christmas season. Your generosity enables us to bring the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ to the least reached continent in all the world. Thanks, thanks, THANKS!

Please join with us in praying for the world and IMB missionaries December 1-8, 2019 using the following website:

We can’t wait to get on a plane and head back to the States on December 8th, but first we have much to do and many things for you to join with us in prayer. We will be having an American Thanksgiving service with our new church plant on December 1st. Ask that God would be honored as we work with our IMB colleagues, Andrew and Kristen Hayes, as we seek to introduce our church family and guests to the Thanksgiving story, food, and traditions. Pray those we invite will come and celebrate with us.

This is the time of the year when we have annual evaluations with those we supervise. Pray we can get many of these done and tie up other loose ends before we fly across the pond.

We will be staying with Trey’s Mom in Weatherford, OK for much of our time in the States and other family members will begin trickling in from December 19th, when Ryan arrives. Bret, Dana, and Kate, whose picture is shown above, will arrive on December 22nd. Trey’s two brothers and their families will come right before Christmas. We’ll head to Austin from December 29 – January 5th to see Bret coach his Austin High School basketball team and spend more time with our daughter-in-law and granddaughter! Ryan will join us as well. Pray for safe travels and a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays.

Thanks so much and may the Lord bless you with His peace and presence in a special way as the Christmas season quickly approaches.
