Luke 2:20 NLT– The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them.

Just a little over two millennia ago an angel appeared to certain shepherds in Palestine and announced to them the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ plus the angel described the environment in which the newborn babe would be found. The shepherds went and found all was exactly as the angel had told them. They went back to their flocks glorifying and praising God. It happened exactly as the angel had described. A sure thing! Praise the Lord that as we enter into this Christmas season we can rejoice in His birth, rejoice in the wonderful salvation that He has provided, and rejoice in the fact that He is coming again! It will be exactly as described in the Word of God. It’s a sure thing!

Another sure thing is that there will be change! There have been changes this year. One change is that the mission moved its home office to a new location about a mile from the old location in Sanford. Also, there was a name change from New Tribes Mission to the new name which is “Ethnos360”! Plus, the Yunkers have changed locations. The first week in November found us loading a U-Haul and then traveling east. This December we will be celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Kennewick and not in Long Beach. Kennewick is situated in the south-central part of the state of Washington and the neighborhood where we are living is very close to our son Joshua and his family. Looking forward to spending some good family times together!

In the most recent issue of the Ethnos360 magazine there is an article entitled, “Embers Fanned into Flame”. The story gives a historical background on the ministry in the Mouk language group in West New Britain, Papua New Guinea and how the work of the Lord is moving forward today. Very encouraging to read how the Mouk church is reaching out to 3 different language groups. Click on the link below and it will bring you to the article.

Read or share the story online.

Once we arrived in Kennewick, it didn’t take very long and my remote office was set up and good to go. Recently, I’ve received word that two of our associate members, who were engaged in ministry partnership development, have raised the support that they needed. One of them arrived on the field in South America just last week! So good to hear!

THANK YOU for your prayers and gifts and encouragement! God has blessed us through you!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
