3 Regions Ethnos360 works in: Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific, 1,205 Church plants by Ethnos360 at various stages, 334 Total number of People Groups reached by Ethnos360, 268 Current number or People Groups where Ethnos360 personnel are actively serving, 90 New Testament Translations Completed by Ethnos360, 114 New Testament Translations in Progress by Ethnos360, 8 New Testament Translations Completed by Ethnos360 in 2016, 766 Students in training globally with Ethnos 360, 389 Students in training in the USA with Ethnos360, 3150 Ethnos total Global Members, and 1,467 Ethnos360 USA MEMBERS.
We were looking back over the years at our past Christmas letters. In 2008 we talked about our friends Mark and Joyce Cain, with whom we did our Language School training in 1971. They have faithfully worked with the Guahibo people in South America and will be leaving Colombia mid 2018 after 45 years all together faithfully serving there. This year, after 4 1/2 years of work, they have had the privilege of seeing a final revision of the New Testament completed in the language of that group. This was really special because it involved the help of several key Guahibo believers. Please pray for the Guahibo people that they will remain faithful to the Lord as they carry on the work of reaching people for Christ.
Mark and Joyce are only one link of the chain in reaching the un-reached for Jesus Christ. We have had a part in training others who are working with unreached people groups around the world. The staff here at the New Tribes Mission Retirement Center make it possible for missionaries to stay on the foreign field knowing their parents are well cared for. Your prayers and/or financial support have been there for us over the years. Each link is equally important, and you continue to be a vital link for which we are eternally grateful in reaching the unreached for Jesus.
