Greetings from Steve and Sandy Aholt,

Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support. We thank God for you all daily, and we pray that each of you will be drawing closer to Him daily – because without Him, we can do nothing.

God continues to bless us with good health and strength to stand against the wiles of the devil. We see so many people falling away from Bible principles and living according to the world. These are some of the signs that we were warned that would happen in the last days. Perilous times!

Steve has had both of his trigger finger release surgeries. Thank you for your prayers as he continues to work out the soreness, in both of his hands, that goes along with this type of procedure.

We are doing well. There are always ministry opportunities around us – so many – that we must be careful to be devoting our time and talents to our main ministry.

We are still working strong on the translation and editing of the Pidgin discipleship material. Two books, The Story of Hope and The Way to Joy, are completed. A third book, The Roots of Faith – Old Testament, is 80% complete. There is a fourth book, The Roots of Faith – New Testament, that still needs to be translated. Please pray for new Papua New Guinea national translators to continue this work with accuracy and to completion, as the former workers are no longer able to do this task, due to other responsibilities. Also, please pray daily that human trafficking will be stopped! Please pray for those who have come out of this lifestyle to have hope and to realize that what they are doing is not them. The two must be kept separate to be able to biblically deal with each facet of what is going on in their lives.

Many of you remember Soma Zato as the girl we mentored for many years. She has been training at our Goroka Baptist Bible College there in Goroka where we lived. She will be graduating on the education program on Thanksgiving Day. She plans to stay and teach in the new school that has been started on our Bible college campus. This new school provides an Christian education alternative for our Bible college student’s children. (Soma is the third one from the right on the front row).

You may remember me speaking about Bill Smith in some of our past Aholt Advances. He is still our PNG Field Coordinator. His wife, Lori Smith, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are here in the USA. She goes this week to talk to the surgeon. Please pray for them as they make decisions for the proper treatment, successful surgery, and complete healing process.

Listening for the trump and praying,
Steve and Sandy Aholt
