Dear friends,
The end of the school year is upon us! You’re invited to join us for the celebration—see the picture below. Pray that all these events are honoring to the Lord and that all those joining us (friends, family, IBC partners) will be blessed and encouraged.
Three teams of staff and students are “hitting the road” this weekend for Promotional Weekend. The teams are going to the Navajo-Hopi, Phoenix-Pima, and San Diego areas. Please pray for them as they travel, do work projects, and share the stories of what the Lord is doing in their lives.
We anticipate having as many as eight graduates for the Certificate and Associate program. We are especially praising God to have four graduates from our Bachelor program! Please pray for these twelve students as they finish up their end-of-the-year requirements—that they would finish strong and be a light for Christ to their friends and families during this time of celebration.
The annual board meeting of the Indian Bible College is next week (May 17-18); please pray for wisdom and direction for our meeting as we consider many areas of opportunity and challenge for IBC.
The last few days I have graded papers from my freshman Christian Family class and from the four graduating seniors in Senior Seminar. I am personally very encouraged to see the great hope and potential of our freshmen students contrasted with the incredible transformation that the Lord has made in the lives of the seniors as they prepare to graduate. Praise God for the incredible difference IBC is making in the lives of these Native students! Thank you for standing with us in prayer and financial support!
