As I type this the students and three staff members are on their way home from the ministry trip in Lapwai, Idaho. They’ve made it to Salt Lake City, Utah so far, and are looking forward to being “home” tonight. It has been a long week of ministry for them but I hear God has blessed. He has worked in and through them.

One of the most exciting developments has been to hear that this year the student body has some of the strongest leadership ever. The staff say they nearly felt like they were along for the ride! That’s a far cry from some of the ministry trips in the past. Praise God!

This week is the beginning of spring break for the students. I hope to have the two students I have in life coaching over for dinner tomorrow, if it works out. Then, Lord willing, I’ll fly to Illinois on Thursday to attend my nephew’s senior organ recital at Wheaton. After also hanging out with my family for a bit and sharing at a generous, faithful supporting church in Crown Point, IN, I must get back to work for the final four and one half weeks of school. I know April will fly by. Then I start East to visit you all at the end of May!

Prayer requests:

  • Effective ministry through those classes I will be teaching and those I will be overseeing (Piano, Introduction to Missions, Creative Ministry Methods, and Personal Finance)
  • Effectiveness in life coaching
  • Wisdom in preparations for traveling this summer
  • That all the students slated to graduate this year will actually do so, in God’s will!
